Hello Visual Communicators,

Only a couple of weeks left. I'd like to see every individual before next Wednesday. Make an appointment, my calendar is on my office door and linked below. Things are constantly being added to my agenda, so schedule early. If you have not done work, please drop the class, the last day is Friday? I don't plan to be in Friday so if you require my signature get it early.

If you have done little work or are scared of computers and don't want to drop, definitely see me.
Prof Herndon's Office Hours Calendar http://profherndonscalendar.blogspot.com/

Bottom line it's time to chart a course to your destination. What grade do you want? Have you earned it already? Is there something you want to do that I have not touched? Extra credit will only be considered if you have done the things I have asked you to do. Again, everything you have experienced is about your creative process. Recognize what you have created and the way you did it; now move forward.

Add an audio track to your still video in Final Cut (Apple Rich Media tutorial) (#15) and embed it in your page.  If you need to get a boost in scriptwriting, there is a chapter in Journalism 2.0.

Hello Visual Communicators,

We are coming to a close rapidly, only a few weeks left. Anyone who has not done work should seriously be considering dropping the course, as failures dramatically affect your GPA.

For the rest of us, we will look at Final Cut Thursday. Bring your still picture story so we can drop images into a Final Cut timeline. We need to start thinking, long form narrative. Did you read the article I attached to the other email this morning? Do.

Next Tuesday there will be guests in the building, so come to class prepared, we’d like you to look like the brilliant students you are. There are meetings scheduled with students Mon, Tues and Wed. If you are interested in speaking to, or hearing the assessments of the accrediting team, please track down the meetings. Please get your Blog pages updated and send me links immediately. Numbers 11 and 12 below ( green assignments) should be read, as they will help you considerably in the work coming up. Remember it is your job to learn to use any software, I can teach concepts but you must practice with the tools of your craft.

Hello Visual Communicators,
All of the assignments in red should have been done. If not, let’s tighten it up, it’s time to move on. Now we do the assignments in green.

The representative from the game company, EA ,will not be presenting until 2pm in the Gallery Lounge of Blackburn. If you are interested in gaming please come. I would suggest you come see what’s going on anyway. Gaming is a $57 Billion market, and growing.

So, we will hold class Tuesday Morning as normal, 11. I want to talk about final projects and want you to have a plan for the rest of the semester. So that you can sail into the end of the semester with style and grace. We lost a giant in Photography, a Black Man, last week Roy DeCarava, more tomorrow on his storytelling.
